Jamie Tulloch tried returning to his normal life after the events of Tanzania, a year goes by and he reaches out to his contacts. Sam Li is smart, motivated, and wants purpose in her life. Both are recruited to join the British intelligence apparatus. When they both participate in Red Poacher, essentially their final exercise as trainees, they try to practice their spy craft (MI6) and counter spy craft (MI5) in Britain. As the exercise begins, they see on of the trainees seem to be shot and perhaps killed. Is this the real world impinging on the exercised? Is this an elaborate ruse by one of the teams? Another fast moving espionage thriller from David Goodman. Jamie finds himself in the midst of more than a trainee should. A lot of fun with plenty of twists and turns.
