By Ellis Peters
Legendary singer Antonia Bryant has died and her will has surprises for her friends and family. Her legendary set of jewelry is no where to be found. And if the surprise heir dies without their own will finalized, everything changes in the disposition of the majority of her estate. When the whole party is snowed into a small alpine village; one member has murderous intent. Can they carry out their plan and not get caught?
Good, but not great Peters. Some good scenes and twists and turns; but I was not invested or interested in the characters. This has elements of better Peter’s stories within it; but didn’t connect with me. Still better than much of the self published stuff on the market today.
