By Scot McKnight and Cody Matchett
An approach to looking at Revelation that is not from a dispensationalist viewpoint. He tends to take what is sometimes considered a “liberal” approach, more accurately a preterist and/or a historic view of the book, verses the futurist approach of Darby and Hal Lindsey and the modern Evangelical and Fundamentalist branches.
At times I find him to dismiss rather then discuss the opposing viewpoint. And while I sympathize, it could have used a touch less disdain.
