Can these crazy retired people work together to solve the case? Will the local police want their experience in their investigation? Who has the darker secret? If you have any experience with this genre, you know the answer to the first two questions. And I assume the answer to the last question will be revealed as the series progresses.

Listen, this is the first book a new series, that I received for free as a Kindle First Read. This was interesting enough, but a bit paint by the numbers. I read it as I was convalescing, and it kept me entertained. But I am not sure that I will read the next installment due out in November.
