2022 #30 – Reconciliation, Healing, and Hope: Sermons from Washington National Cathedral

Edited by Jan Naylor Cope

Preached from the Day of Pentecost, 2020 through the Day of Pentecost 2021, this is a collection of sermons preached by the Presiding Bishop, the Dean of the Cathedral, the Diocesan Bishop, and various canons of the Cathedrals. Preached during a time of pandemic and civil unrest these sermons are often topical and immediate.

Which is their strength and weakness. When they are on they might be timeless. When they are not on, they may seem shallow. Any collection of anything – sermons, short stories, journals articles – have some that you like, some that you don’t like (sometimes violently), and many that are in the middle. This is that kind of collection.
