Stories about the World Series abound, passed around by fans. This book takes a look at 18 World Series Stories that are less well known. I had not heard anything about the Negro League World Series and the 1942 one in particular. But many of the rest I’d heard or read over the years. These are well written, organized around themes, and I enjoyed them.
