At times poetic and personal, I know the frustration of those years. I grew up hearing about the great collapse of 1969. I remember my Dad telling me not to get to excited in 1984, because the Cubs will break your heart… as we turned on WGN to watch them play.

The next book that needs to be written is the new malaise Cubs fans have post 2016…
