2024 #23 – A Pirate’s Life for Tea (Tomes and Tea #2)

by Rebecca Thorne

Kianthe and Reyna are engaged and on the lookout for the dragon eggs. Their search leads them to the land where Diarn Arlon is in charge. A breadbasket that is being targeted by a new pirate, Serina. To get the records they need to track the eggs they go to work for Diarn Arlon, very reluctantly. They join with Bobbie, who has been sent to hunt Serina…. And from there the swashbuckling begins.

The second book has less books and tea and more adventure. This is both good and bad, as they discuss going back to the comfy life style – but never get there. Bobbie turns out to be a knitter… and she and Serina were best friends… and off we go. Enjoyable, but it felt less cozy than the first book.
