Carrie Muskat brings together 60 interviews over 50 years of Cubs baseball. This was published in 2002, and covers the period of the deepest doldrums of the Cubs franchise. In 1945 the Cubs made the World Series. They would not make it back into the playoffs until 1984 (when the playoffs expanded) and not back into the Series until 2016. There are some excellent interviews, some interviews that are short and about specific incidents in a players career. As such its good, but unfocused.

I enjoyed it, good way to start the Season.
