Some really good novellas in the Slough House universe. They help give connective tissue and background to the universe and include Herron’s witty and acerbic style.

I spent January first on my post Christmas vacation and then with Covid. I read through the Slough House series first as a relaxation, than as a way to relieve the boredom will sick. I enjoyed them all at the time, but they all have run together to some degree.
