Dominic Felse is on holiday, and Tossa is away. Dominic has stayed in India to work with the Swami Premanathanand. While traveling in the south of India, he and his companions see the murder of a landlord by a bomb. As more landlords die, will their new friend be one of them? Or will Dominic and the Swami be able to unravel the mystery?

The second book in India, no Tossa, and a plot that was weaker. It was ok, but seemed almost rote.
