Isaac and his children Georgia and Wulf, live in the remains of the state of Arizona – which is now an inhospitable wasteland. The world is hot and on fire. They survive by carefully and methodically following routines. And by staying away from other people. And then two people come to visit the family, and the perspectives of the kids, both older teenagers, change.  

And from there secrets are revealed, kids experience love and lust, family is challenged… There are some interesting ideas and characters. But most of these problems could have been solved with Isaac being a reasonable human being…
