And then we end up in the twists and turns, the dialogue, the characters that Leonard is famous for writing. With Leonard, its also interesting to see the growth of these characters over the years. While “Jackie Brown” hinted at the length of time Ordell and Luis have been acquainted, the books bring it out in technicolor.
