This is a well written book. And something of a mystery novel. I am not sure what I can say without giving the game away, but I want to say this – I felt for Richard Papen the protagonist. Finding himself far from home, almost penniless and begins to find acceptance and his tribe. That leads him to get caught up in this whirlwind that are his new friends and their secret. She does a great job of showing that haze 20 somethings find themselves in, separated from their parents for the first time.
