Last post for tonight – finally have a moment to get caught up from my post Easter reading. Padawan Rooper Nitani joins her friend Dass Leffbruk as he joins a race to find Planet X. Their new “partner” is Sky Graf of the Graf family, they bring the ship to the crew. But there are complications….

Sky didn’t ask their big brother if they could borrow the new ship, Rooper’s master was at the Battle of Jedha (and she hasn’t been able to reach him), and Dass is looking to prove himself. But they aren’t the only team in the competition. And the Path of the Open Hand is involved too. Will these teens find the planet and win the race? Or will they end up over their heads?

Well written, but very by the numbers for a YA story. They’ve done a good job of making the YA stories parallel the teen and adult books.
