Tossa’s mother asks Dom and Tossa to do her a little favor – take her new costar’s daughter to her father in India. George and Bunty tell the kids not to be crazy – take the invitation for an all expense paid trip to India. When they arrive, they meet a film crew that includes an old friend of the mother, and learn that Anjli’s father has been missing for a year, her grandmother is on her death bed, and the family’s business is being run by a cousin. She meets a young musician and falls in love. With no one that can take over guardianship, Tossa and Dom have to wait. But then Anjli goes missing…and Dom and Tossa find themselves in the middle of a mystery in a foreign land.

Another quick read, this was written in the 1960’s, so there are some dated stereotypes. But it is an enjoyable romp.
