At a weekend retreat to learn and discuss folk music, a famous folk singer seems to have disappeared after a public musical spat with his girlfriend. Luckily Dom Felse and Tossa are attending the weekend at Follymead (a modern place made like a romantic version of an old country manor) and are soon embroiled in a tale of mystery and jealousy. All while trying to keep the other guests from learning that anything more than a lover’s quarrel is happening. Luckily, Dom’s dad George is available to look at the evidence and find out what happened….
Dom and Tossa are a couple and in college and are conveniently placed to head up the early parts of the investigation. Since they are near Dom’s house, its easy to get George involved – but Bunty is largely missing. This one has a few more twists and turns than previous editions. Enjoyable, short read.
