By Pete Zacharias
Imagine that your father was a serial killer and that your son was killed in your pursuit of one. Yes, this is the grimdark world that Rooker Lindstrom finds himself in. Although the drunken Rooker, who lives in his father’s old murder cabin, in Minnesota. The cabin is breaking down, so is Rooker who rarely eats, changes his clothes, or showers. But this depressed man has no issue getting the ladies…. The former journalist with a serial killer background gets involved when women in town start dying, and he is a prime suspect. Is there a connection between Rooker and these murders?
This is a well plotted and well written book. But Rooker should be in counseling not assisting a police investigation. I don’t like my antihero stories this dark. If you do, give it a try.
