Anton finds himself wanting to go legitimate… but doesn’t want to work. Not for his legitimacy, on his relationships, and his job. What happens when he gets blackmailed into one more job as his life is falling apart?
The style of this book is like that of Station 11, without the apocalypse. The present narrative is interwoven with flashbacks and digressions. The odd chapter from a different point of view. And an open ended conclusion. I find St. John Mandel’s writing to be excellent. Here I kept wanting to turn and continue reading…
