A brief coda for the end of the Expanse series (it’s listed as 9.5 in the series on Amazon) a novella that centers on a certain “Filip Nagata”, helping to fill in what happened to him after he leaves the series. Set after a major event in Leviathan Falls (Book 9), he follows him and some internal discussion about his history.

To fully understand the story, read Leviathan Wakes first (really read the Expanse series first). Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck (the writers who write under the James S.A. Corey name) give enough information that you would probably grok what is going on….but the nuance and depth would be lost.

“The Sins of Our Fathers” comes out the same day as Memory’s Legion: The Complete Expanse Story Collection which includes the other 7 novellas. “The Sins of Our Fathers” is a wonderful ending to The Expanse…but the ending left me wanting more.
