Can the whole paranormal/Fortean milieu be explained by time travel? UFOs/UAPs, Bigfoot, Nessie, ghosts, strange creatures all have been proposed at various times by various people to be the results of natural or mechanical time travel. Nick Redfern explores a wide variety of phenomena and stories and brings out the researchers that suggest that its not extra terrestrials people are seeing – its someone from the far future.

I still have a hard time with “evidence” that is mediums, remote viewing, or unattributed internet . And chunks of the “why is this time travel?” seem to come from those sources. Redfern is good about letting the various proponents make their own cases, while he is able to stay relatively neutral.

Two observations – Redfern has written over 30 books in the Fortean space. I’ve read many of them and he tends to retell stories similarly in each book or sometimes points towards his previous works…so I don’t recommend reading a lot of his work consecutively. And this wide ranging interests emphasizes his ability to tell a good yarn and leave it up to you to determine who of his sources are right in their conjectures.
