The 17th book in the Walt Longmire series sees Walt working for Tribal Police Chief Lolo Long to protect her niece Jaya, a star high school basketball player, who’s sister had gone missing the year before. With Henry Standing Bear and Dog at his side Walt looks for who is threatening Jaya and battles with unexplainable forces who seem to be involved in the disappearance of Jaya’s sister and is now stalking Walt. A return to form of the earlier series that mixed Walt’s investigations with spirituality, I enjoyed it and look forward to its sequel.
