Given to me by a parishioner, this is a good introduction to the concept of prayer. It hits all of the basics and leans charismatic, evangelical, Church of England, Anglican. I could quibble over the theological issues I have with some of the concepts… most of it is in the details (its all about degrees). While it affirms the liturgical, prayer book style, but it doesn’t emphasize it.

It was a good read, I am considering using it in the future.
