Pat Frank’s Mr. Adam is one of those sci-fi books from the 1940s that had an interesting scenario – “What would happen if there was only one fertile man left in the world after a nuclear disaster?” and runs with it. Published in 1946, it is very dated in its views on many things.

This was a $1.99 clearance purchase, because I have a huge soft spot in my heart for Alas, Babylon….
