When The High Republic series was announced I preordered everything; and at that time details were scarce. I knew that some YA books were in the lineup. Since I have kids, that didn’t bother me. After a quick read, I would guess that A Test of Courage is aimed at the 4-6 grade reading level. It introduces some Jedi and non-Jedi characters and gives them a tween-teen sized mission. Introducing the bad guys of the whole series along the way.

10 year old me would have loved this book, as way back then trilogies about Han and Lando were coming out lacked Jedi (and consistency).
