Christopher Moore

A self described “perky noir” that blends the sounds of a noir book with an eventual sci-fi twist is fun, but honestly took me about 30 pages to really get into. I honestly bounced back and forth between this book and the next book I will finish, through its first couple of chapters. It builds up steam as it goes, and blends the noir elements with the sci-fi and conspiracy elements to a satisfying conclusion.
