So, Star Wars was my original “fandom” (as the kids say today), seeing the rerelease of A New Hope in the theater as small child…had a formative impact on me. I still watch the movies and read the books. The Light of the Jedi is the first book in a new series that takes place about two hundred years before The Phantom Menace. The book is a strong beginning to the new series with an interesting antagonist and characters that have potential. And its well written, I am glad I pre-ordered it.
